About the Artist
My name is Karyn Robinson and I am self-taught, local artist here in Houston, Texas! I never imagined that one of my loves would eventually become my profession, and I am so grateful that it happened that way. I am a college graduate, receiving degrees in the sciences...but my passions, however, are music and creating unique and abstract art.
My Christian faith really is the main influence for my art. Finding ways of expressing the love and mercy of God on canvas is my goal. My art has been influenced by many self-taught artists that are considered "unknowns" as well. It is my desire to create art that can pull emotion into a room. There is nothing more satisfying than hearing back from clients who express what the painting has created in their environment.
